The Lake Mary Center in Paola, Kansas required a roofing replacement to address aging materials and improve long-term facility performance. The project involved installing approximately 24,000 square feet of Berridge Zee-Lock standing seam metal roofing, selected for its structural compatibility with the building’s existing roof design. New gutters and downspouts were included to improve drainage and integrate with the updated assembly. All panels were roll-formed on the jobsite to achieve required lengths, reduce transportation handling, and streamline installation sequencing.
Coordination with Straub Construction included planning for equipment placement, material staging, and daily access to occupied portions of the facility. Weather monitoring and layout adjustments were performed throughout installation to maintain schedule and ensure accurate panel fabrication. Field modifications were made where substrate variations required additional alignment. The project was completed in accordance with specifications, with the standing seam system and drainage components installed to meet the facility’s performance criteria.
