Meet the JR&CO Family

Jon Schilling

Jonathan Schilling started with JR & Co. in 2005 and over the years has successfully filled many of our key positions. With years of experience in roofing and construction management, Jonathan was promoted to General Manager in 2013 and went on to purchase the company in 2017. Jonathan is a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served from 2007-2019.

“JR & Co. has grown and succeeded because of the great, hardworking team of people that surround me. Without them, JR & Co. would not be what it is today. The JR & Co. culture of family that I have worked hard to cultivate is a direct inspiration of the love and support I get from my wife Rebecca and my eight children – Asher, Katelyn, Emma, Olivia, Brynlee, Grant, Hazel and Rhett. I would not be the man or leader I am today without them.”

Mike Harris

Mike Harris joined JR&CO in 2020 and has since been an invaluable part of our team, serving as both Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. With his extensive background in corporate and public accounting, Mike has greatly enhanced the Finance function at JR&CO

Mike shared, “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished at JR&CO, and it’s all thanks to the hard work and contributions of my team and everyone across the company. The family-like culture here is what drew me to JR&CO, and it’s a joy to work alongside such wonderful people every day.”

Outside of work, Mike enjoys quality time with his wife, Paula, his daughter Ashley, son-in-law Jayme, and their Bernedoodle, Hazel. His personal interests include cycling, golfing, and scuba diving.

Nathan Stewart

Nathan Stewart joined JR&CO in 2015 as General Manager and has served in various leadership roles during the company’s growth and expansion, including the launch of our Colorado branch. As a certified Contracts Manager with a Master’s Degree in project management, he participates in professional associations and implements best practices across many of our departments. With over 15 years of experience working on government proposals and contracts, Nathan oversees our growing Federal program.

“Before I joined the JR&CO Team I was a Client and my motivation to join the team was from years of experience working with them on large federal projects where they excelled beyond their competition in safety, integrity, and performance. Outside of work my wife with our four children enjoy exploring and experiencing the outdoors and traveling the country in our RV.”

Nathan Schilling

Nate Schilling joined JR & Co. in Fall 2025, bringing more than 28 years of leadership experience from the U.S. Army and federal law enforcement. He is responsible for aligning operations, support functions, and business processes to drive sustainable growth, strengthen organizational performance, and advance the company’s long-term strategic objectives.

Nate is passionate about building high-performing teams, developing leaders, and implementing scalable systems that foster accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the organization. A devoted husband and father of six, Nate is grateful to serve alongside a talented team committed to excellence and JR & Co.’s mission. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, tackling home improvement projects, and creating lasting memories together.

Julian Caldwell

Julian Caldwell serves as Chief Information Officer at JR & Co., bringing more than 30 years of experience in enterprise technology, digital transformation, and operational leadership. In his role, he leads the organization’s IT strategy, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, and system optimization efforts, aligning technology with business growth and long-term service excellence.

Julian is passionate about building strong teams, simplifying complex systems, and aligning technology with real business outcomes.

Outside of work, Julian is deeply committed to mentoring men at all stages of life and investing in his community. He serves alongside his wife, Laurie, on the worship team at their local church, writes music, and loves to travel. Julian and Laurie have three children—Allie, Eli, and Ervin—who inspire his leadership and keep life full of meaning and joy.

Rachel Schilling

Rachel Schilling has been an integral part of JR&CO since 2017, gaining valuable experience across multiple departments and locations. She has held roles in administration, office management, and the federal division, each contributing to her deep understanding of the business. She also played a pivotal role in the startup of JR&CO’s Colorado division, dedicating three years to its growth before expanding her expertise to Florida and Omaha. Now, as Vice President of Marketing, she leverages her extensive operational knowledge and leadership experience to drive JR&CO’s brand strategy and market presence.

Nathan Clausen

Nathan Clausen is our Vice President of Sales for JR & Co. With 12 years of commercial roofing experience and 5 years of photovoltaic solar experience, the combination of commercial roofing and solar expertise has helped put JR & Co. in a unique position to offer customers a customized Solar Roof System.

“JR & Co. is like an extended family. It changes everything when you love the people you work with. When I’m not at work I am enjoying time with my wife and 5 children. We are busy with soccer, basketball, wrestling and gymnastics.”

Tony Medina

Tony Medina has nine years of experience in the roofing industry, having worked his way up from a crew member in 2015 to Vice President of Estimating. In his current role, he oversees estimating operations for over $100 million in annual revenue, with expertise in project estimation, cost management, and strategic planning.

Outside of work, Tony is a devoted family man, spending quality time with his wife and two children. He supports his kids in their competitive sports and shares a special bond with his son over NFL games. He also enjoys family movie nights, home projects, and caring for his farm animals. With a strong commitment to both his career and family life, Tony is dedicated to building a meaningful and fulfilling future.

Mike House

Mike House joined JR&CO in 2020 and has held various positions, from Sales to Vice President of Service and currently serves as our Chief Revenue Officer. With nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry, he has played a key role in building sales and business development teams. Since becoming part of JR&CO’s leadership team in 2021, Mike has contributed significantly to the success of these teams. Additionally, he has focused on fostering strong, long-term relationships with clients.

As a lifelong Kansas City resident, Mike grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, and graduated from Turner High School before attending Rockhurst University, where he majored in Mathematics, played soccer, and served as team captain. A member of Tau Kappa Epsilon, Mike built lifelong friendships that have supported his success. Married for 25 years with four children, he channels his passion for soccer into coaching, refereeing, and supporting his kids’ games.

Matthew Schilling

Matthew Schilling has been with JR&CO since 2007, starting as a Warehouse Assistant and working his way up to Executive VP of Operations. With over 15 years of construction experience, he is a skilled problem-solver and leader in operational management. Matthew also served nine years in the U.S. Army Reserves as a helicopter mechanic and CH-47 flight engineer.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to grow at JR&CO and for the incredible team I work alongside. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our three children (one on the way), playing sports, and perfecting my BBQ skills.”

Dwayne Smirl

Justin Jorgensen

Justin Jorgensen has been with JR&CO since March 2010 and serves as a Project Executive. Justin has over 15 years of construction and project management experience and has served in various positions throughout the company during his tenure at JR&CO, from Crew Member to Director of Project Management.

“What I like about JR&CO is the family environment and the everyday challenges that help you grow. I have been married for over 20 years and have 3 children, plus my first grandkid on the way. Outside of work, I stay busy with all the different activities my kids are involved in; the past couple of years I have really enjoyed helping build the sets for show choir and the plays at school.”

David Schilling

David Schilling joined JR&CO in March 2012, starting as a laborer and working his way up to Project Executive. With over a decade of experience, he has played a vital role in multiple aspects of the company, earning trust through his dedication and expertise. Whether on a job site or in the office, David is always ready to lead, no matter the situation.

“I’ve truly valued the lasting relationships I’ve built at JR&CO, which extend beyond just work. Outside of my career, I enjoy playing sports, woodworking, serving at my church, and cherishing time with my wife and five children.”

Kevin Dugan

Trevor Furay

Trevor Furay has been with JR&CO since 2019, excelling in roles including Foreman, Superintendent, Estimator, and Senior Estimator. With a strong focus on team growth, a deep commitment to building and upholding relationships, and a natural ability to lead, Trevor now serves as Program Vice President of Architectural Cladding. In this role, his primary focus is on developing people, strengthening teams, and advancing the division’s national reach.

“There isn’t a place that I would rather be, people I’d rather work alongside, or a team that I’d rather grow with—both personally and professionally. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two children, hunting, fishing, archery, and hiking.”

Carl Gales

Carl Gales joined the JR&CO team in January of 2023 as a project manager, with the goal of establishing a Glass and Glazing Division, which was accomplished in 2025. Carl began his career at Atlas Glass and moved from Midwest Glass to Forman Glass, before finally joining the JR Family. With over 25 years of experience in glass and glazing Carl brings a wealth of knowledge to our newest department.

In his spare time Carl enjoys spending time with his wife of 20+ years and enjoys fishing out on the lake.

Chris Jorgensen

Chris Jorgensen has been with JR&CO since May of 2009 and has served successfully in various positions and departments, working his way through the ranks. He currently serves as a Project Executive, a great place to be with his 25+ years of roofing experience!

 “What I like about JR is the family atmosphere and challenge of the job. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife of 20 years, two kids and 2 grandkids. Working on projects at home and camping.”

Abraham Nichols

Abraham Nichols has been with JR&CO since 2014, starting in the warehouse and working his way up through various leadership roles, including Service Foreman, Crew Foreman, Crew Supervisor, and Operations Manager. He now serves as the Florida Branch Manager, where he is committed to leading his team with integrity and dedication to quality services for both our commercial and residential clients.

“As a devoted husband and father to three wonderful children my wife and I are truly blessed by the Lord and seek to grow in our relationships with our local church family. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, hunting, camping, and teaching our children to be good stewards of what God has blessed us with. Traveling to Brazil to visit family is also a cherished tradition.”

Jason Flannery

Jason Flannery started his roofing career right after high school and has spent years honing his craft. He’s held various operational roles and now serves as Vice President of the Rock Mountain Region, overseeing high-level operations. Jason is committed to customer satisfaction, safety, and maintaining the highest standards of quality in every project. 

Outside of work, Jason is a proud single father to his son, Caden. He is passionate about physical fitness, regularly spending time at the gym and enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking. His greatest joy is sharing these experiences with Caden, making memories while staying active and healthy.  

Claire Guhl

Claire is a Senior Administrative Assistant, she has been with JR&CO, since 2023. Claire is dedicated to providing exceptional support to colleagues, ensuring smooth operations and fostering a positive work environment. Her goal is always to anticipate needs, and contribute to the success of the team in any way she can.  

Outside of work, Claire enjoys caring for her daughter, Mia and her husband, Jacob. Claire values spending time with family and being involved in her church community.

Samantha Kaiser

Samantha Kaiser started with JR & Co. in October 2018. She has been apart of many departments throughout her time varying from the Administration, to Operations, Marketing, and is currently serving as the Administrative Assistant.

Kiersten Schilling

Mary Olubogun

Mary Olubogun joined the JR&CO family in 2025 with the desire to work with integrity, grit, and joy. As the Client Relations Specialist, she aims to cultivate a warm and welcoming environment by showing hospitality to her team members, guests, and clients. She prizes the family culture of the company and seeks to exhibit this in her work. Born and raised in St. Louis, Mary moved to Kansas City to pursue biblical studies at Spurgeon College. She is a proud alumna and has grown to love the people and places of Kansas City. 

Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending time with her church family, being outside, hanging out with her friends, playing tennis, laughing, listening to music, and hugging her family.

Rachel Nieters

Rachel Nieters joined JR in August 2025 in the Customer Relations Specialist position. She loves interacting with a wide range of people and enjoys seeing everyone in our corporate office. She is originally from St. Louis, and moved to Kansas City to complete her bachelor’s degree in 2022, and has loved Kansas City ever since.

Before working at JR she worked at UMKC doing full time ministry and developing college students in their leadership skills and faith. In her spare time she loves running, playing guitar, and getting coffee with friends.

Emily Costello

Emily Costello joined JR&CO in September 2024, bringing her passion for graphic design and creativity to the Marketing team. With over five years of experience working at JR during the summers, Emily is excited to be a permanent member of the JR family. Originally from Las Vegas, she made the move to Kansas City for a fresh start and a new professional opportunity. She deeply values her team and the supportive JR family, who make her role even more fulfilling.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, playing sports, hunting, and expressing her creativity—whether on paper or through digital mediums. She also finds joy in being at her church and serving her Saviour, a passion that adds meaning and purpose to her life.

Adriana Perez

Adriana Perez joined JR&CO in July 2025, she is passionate about creating meaningful and intentional experiences for the community. Adriana’s previous experience was in community engagement and relationship building, she is excited to bring a people-centered approach into her role as the Marketing and Client Coordinator.

I am originally from KCK and love making a difference in the community. Outside of work, I enjoy popups with my  small jewelry business, serving in my church, and playing pickleball and board games with my husband, friends and family.

Naomi Bryant

Naomi has been with JR&CO since 2021, first in administration and now as the Payroll Manager. Since starting in payroll, she has brought payroll in-house, streamlined the process, and continues to find ways to innovate. When not working she loves spending time with her husband and two girls, affectionately known as work baby 1 and work baby 2. 

“I am proud of the accomplishments I have made and the professional growth I have experienced while working at JR&CO. It is a great place to work with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I do my best to take care of each issue that comes my way promptly and in a God-honoring way. I have had the opportunity to bring both of my girls in to work with me after maternity leave for the first year of their lives, which has been an amazing experience for us all.”

Crystal Verser

Crystal Verser joined JR&CO in April 2024 as a Payroll Coordinator. With over eight years of experience in payroll, she has become proficient in various payroll software systems and has a strong track record of maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely processing, and providing excellent customer service to employees.

“I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of the JR&CO team. Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my three wonderful daughters: Journiee, Destiniee, and Graciela (Gracie). From learning new dance trends with Journiee and crafting with Destiniee to playing dolls with Gracie, I treasure every moment. We also enjoy attending church on Sundays and spending time outdoors with family.”

Lucas Moore

Lucas Moore is the Controller at JR&CO, where he has played a key role in overseeing financial operations for the past four years. With a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), graduating Summa Cum Laude, he brings a high level of precision and attention to detail to all aspects of their work.

In addition to his academic achievements, Lucas Moore is a proud military veteran, a background that has instilled strong discipline and a unique approach to problem-solving. His deep understanding of financial management, combined with a commitment to excellence, makes him an invaluable asset to the JR&CO team.

With a passion for delivering accurate financial reports and optimizing internal processes, Lucas Moore works closely with leadership to drive the company’s success. Outside of his professional endeavors, he is committed to continuous learning and spending time with family, and enjoys playing a game of pickleball.

Samantha Cunningham

Samantha Cunningham started at JR&CO August 2024 as the accounts payable manager. She moved here from the Wichita KS area and has 10+ years experience in accounts payable. 

“Working for JR&CO has been an amazing experience thus far and I am excited for the future here. The pride in the work they do and employee forward mindset is in my opinion the best! When I am not at work, I love to explore the KC area with my side-kick, Lagertha (Great Pyrenees), spend time with my granddaughter, and learn mixed martial arts.”

Madison Hancock

Madison Hancock has been with JR&CO since May 2020. Demonstrating versatility by taking on several roles within the accounting department. Currently serving as the AP Specialist, she is responsible for processing invoices across four branches, including corporate accounts and subcontractor invoices. She also manages company reimbursements, and payment schedules, and ensures compliance with company financial policies and procedures. Madison’s exceptional record-keeping, attention to detail, and strong communication skills have made her an invaluable asset to the accounting team. 

“When I’m off the clock, I enjoy reading, and hanging out with friends and family. I am a huge Chiefs, Royals, and Kansas Jayhawks fan. Most nights and weekends, you can find me watching some sporting event.”

Geraldine Bryant

Geraldine Bryant has been with JR&CO, Inc. since April 2020, starting as an Administrative Assistant before transitioning to the accounting department as an Accounts Payable Specialist, in 2022. With a background in administrative support and a keen eye for detail, Geraldine is committed to supporting the accounting team and the overall success of JR&CO

Josiah Shaull

Josiah Shaull joined JR&CO in 2024 as an HR Coordinator and was promoted to HR Manager by the end of the year. He’s dedicated to achieving results for JR&CO and believes that hard work and strategic HR practices are key to achieving organizational goals. His background in Intercultural Studies provides him with a strong understanding of people, which enables him to build effective relationships with JR&CO’s teams.

“JR&CO drew me in by the core values that aligned with many values I adhere to daily. When I have some free time outside of work I enjoy time with family and friends, I also am always down for a round of disc golf or a game of basketball. My wife and I are also active members in our local church and love to spend time trying out coffee shops together.”

Brandon Estes

Brandon Estes joined JR&Co as a Human Resources Generalist in 2025 with the goal of providing employees the tools and resources they need to succeed in their work. With previous experience in HR, Brandon has discovered and kindled a passion for supporting and helping others. He is excited to grow with JR&CO and use his abilities to make a positive impact with everyone he meets.

Outside of work, Brandon loves playing sports like soccer and disc golf, serving in his church’s youth group as a small group leader, and exploring Kansas City with his wife. During the summer, he loves going out on the lake to wakesurf, ski, and soak in the sun.

Andrew Forester

Andrew Forester started in July of 2025 as the Recruiter at JR & Co. Through his experience in insurance sales, logistics, and church ministry, Andrew has grown in his love for creating meaningful interactions with people. This leads to his passion for building relationships and connecting others, which has him excited to join the team as a recruiter. As a recruiter, he aims to support the company’s mission by fostering growth within the JR&Co team.

A native of Louisiana, Andrew proudly embraces his Southern roots. He enjoys LSU sports, cooking Cajun food, and sipping sweet tea. In his free time, he can often be found playing sports, drinking good coffee, exploring the outdoors, or spending time with friends. An active member of his church, Andrew is deeply committed to teaching, counseling, and encouraging others, with hopes of one day stepping into pastoral ministry.

Raleighe Gonzales

Raleighe Gonzales has been with JR&CO since 2020. In the Spring of 2023, she joined the Safety & Compliance team and earned her Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) certification. Which allowed her to strengthen the company’s risk management and safety efforts. Raleighe’s day to day involves subcontractor onboarding and insurance audits, completes prequalifications for the Estimating team bids, oversees and maintains state and local licenses as well as manage JR&CO’s annual insurance renewals and audits.  With a 9-5 is filled with audits, reports, and problem solving, she leaves work feeling satisfied and challenged.

“Outside of work, I crochet life’s stress away one stitch at a time. It’s been a game changer. I also like going to concerts and art shows with my husband and friends. They keep me young.

Jodi Seaback

 Jodi Seaback joined JR&CO in 2024 with 25 years of experience in her field. Her background runs wide: she owned a roofing company in Houston, ran a restaurant there as well, and has worked as a realtor and in interior design. What she enjoys most about JR&CO is the people.

Outside of work, Jodi takes on house remodeling and furniture restoration projects. She has two adult children, Shannon and Tony, and a granddaughter, Riley.

Holly Hughes

Holly Hughes joined JR&CO as an Office Admin at our Florida branch in 2023 and has become the Office Manager since. Holly’s previous experience in the construction industry has helped her as she seeks to grow more in knowledge and experience. Holly is a joy and pleasure to work with, always seeking to serve others around her.

“I truly enjoy working with such a great team and a company that values their employees.  

I enjoy living in the sunshine state where I can enjoy going to the beach, riding our Harley and spending valuable time with family and friends.” 

Robert Girard

Robert is a seasoned client relations specialist with over 40 cumulative years of experience in the fields of construction business development, real estate sales, fine jewelry sales and sales training. Robert is passionate about customer service and its potential to avoid real-world problems. The love of Robert’s life is his wife of 23 years and his twin boys! When not working or spending time with his family and friends, Robert is an avid traveler, long distance motorcyclist, guitarist and a self described “bookworm”.

“I’m a firm believer that if you are in sales you must be constantly on the lookout for ways to provide heroic customer service. Clients want to work with people they relate to and trust!”

Mesha Harris

As Business Development Manager, Mesha brings a distinct edge to commercial roofing and construction through her passion for connection, creativity, and strategic partnerships. With an extensive background in Property Management, she understands the ins and outs of building performance, tenant satisfaction, and long-term value. Mesha’s approach to business development is rooted in what she calls “The Soft Sale”, a relationship-first philosophy that builds genuine trust before the pitch. Her dynamic energy, professionalism, and intuitive understanding of client needs make her an indispensable force in forging new opportunities and maintaining lasting partnerships.

Outside the office, Mesha is a creative soul with a deep passion for combining luxury design with the great outdoors. She is the visionary behind unique glamping experiences that reflect her love of glamorous design concepts, luxurious comfort, and adventure in nature. Whether she’s scouting scenic stays or pitching new hospitality concepts, Mesha thrives in bringing big ideas to life under the open sky. Known for her infectious laugh, warm smile, and magnetic personality, she naturally builds community wherever she goes—blending business savvy with peaceful living.

Tom Hurley

Tom Hurley joined JR&CO in early 2025 with more than 30 years of experience in sales, including two decades at Voss Lighting. He has built his career on helping individuals and organizations meet their facility needs, and he brings that same expertise and commitment to the team here.

Outside of work, Tom has been married to his wife, Heidi, for 35 years. Together they have nine children, ranging in age from 14 to 33, and five grandchildren. He also serves as head football coach at Christ Preparatory Academy, where the focus is on building godly men for the next generation and using the game to teach life lessons.

Regan Hurley

Regan Hurley joined JR&CO in early 2025 as a Sales Representative and has since became an Account Manager. He brings a strong background in sales, operations, customer service, and warehouse management from his previous company. Regan values the strong team dynamic and the family-oriented culture at JR&CO.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura, and their son, Thomas, as well as traveling and playing sports.

Erik Nielsen

Erik joined JR&Co as an Account Manager, bringing nine years of experience in project management and sales with a national lighting distributor. There, they supported a wide range of clients, from local mom-and-pop shops to large national accounts. Since joining JR, they’ve appreciated the strong team culture and how everyone is willing to step in and help. The company’s commitment to providing solutions and problem-solving has stood out as a key strength.

Outside of work, Erik enjoys spending time with family and running in their spare time. Married for 10 years, they are proud parents of children, and family is a central part of life both in and out of the office.

Zach Stamatis

Zach Stamatis joined JR&CO in 2017, bringing 5 years of experience in the field along with a background in sales and management. What he enjoys most about JR&CO is the family culture the team has built.

Outside of work, Zach spends time with his wife and son, and enjoys fishing, watching sports, and mowing the lawn.

Russ Baldwin

Russell Baldwin has been working in the roofing industry since 1995. He began his career with his father, completing residential shingle installations before transitioning to commercial flat roofing systems in 1998. After merging with JR Roofing in 2001, Russell worked as a roof repair technician until 2004, then moved to the East Coast to continue roofing work. In 2009, he joined JR&CO in Kansas City as a roof technician.

In 2013, Russell shifted to sales and estimating, rejoining his father and expanding his knowledge in the roofing industry. Since then, he has specialized in inspecting, estimating, and selling a variety of commercial and residential roofing solutions.

“I enjoy spending time with family and friends in my spare time along with a passion for music.  I have been married to Krista for 20+ years now who I share three kids with two daughters and a son. I have been playing acoustic guitar for about 30 years now and enjoy playing all sorts of musical instruments. My son Kaleb started working with me here at JR&CO late 2024 and I am very excited to teach him all I can about the Roofing Industry.”

Kaleb Baldwin

Kaleb Baldwin joined JR&CO in Summer 2025 as a Sales Assistant and recently advanced to Junior Technical Surveyor. Since starting, he has developed strong estimating skills and continues building technical knowledge in roofing systems and field evaluation. He is currently studying for his GED and focused on gaining hands-on industry experience as he prepares for future field opportunities.

Outside of work, Kaleb enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, family, and friends. He is interested in cars, photography, fitness, exploring new places, and enjoys Indian food.

Joe Swigart

Joe Swigart just celebrated his seven year anniversary with JR&CO Starting with residential sales in Kansas City, Joe moved to North Florida in 2019 to work alongside the Florida team. Joe has held the positions of business development and client care representative for JR&CO, but enjoys his current role as Account Manager servicing Florida and the Southeast region. 

Joe loves spending time with his wife of 30 years, 7 children, 3 children-in-law, and 2 of the cutest grandkids on the planet. Being a Kansas City Chiefs’ fan is a requirement for the entire family including those who marry into it. Joe also enjoys kayaking and serving in his church.

Bruno Rosa

Bruno Rosa joined the JR&CO team after spending several years working on property damage insurance claims for a large public adjusting firm across the country. In his previous role, he was dedicated to ensuring that properties were properly compensated and restored to their pre-storm condition. Bruno brings his expertise in claims management and his commitment to quality service to his new role at JR&CO

“I am fortunate enough to live in SW Florida the last 7 years with my wife Lisa of over 25 years. We have a wonderful son who is a senior software engineer and professional pickleball player. Prior to moving to Florida I spent my first 50 years in Pennsylvania managing and owning collision repair facilities. Some of my hobbies include spending time with family and friends, metal detecting the South Florida beaches for lost jewelry, traveling with friends across the US and other countries treasure hunting, photography, working in my garage restoring and rebuilding cars and boats to name a few.”

Brad Loney met the JR&CO team originally as a customer and was impressed by the people and company values so much that he became a member of the JR&CO family in May 2021. As Account Manager– Cedar Rapids, Brad brings decades of varied experiences ranging from motorsports to manufacturing and fabrication.

Rickey Jones

I joined the JR&CO family in December of 2023 as a Superintendent, but I manage a diverse set of responsibilities that include overseeing the day-to-day on construction sites, project management, and actively selling.  My main focus is on growing the Northwest Arkansas market and building a self-sustaining, long-term operation in the area.  What attracted me to JR&CO was the incredible people and the company’s strong commitment to its core principles and values.  The culture here consistently reflects the integrity, collaboration, and dedication to excellence that make this a great place to work. 

Outside of JR&CO, I am a licensed Realtor and have a deep passion for real estate, particularly new construction.  I love helping people navigate the process of buying, selling, and investing in properties.  In my free time, I’m an avid golfer and enjoy traveling to play new courses across the country.  I also cherish spending time with my wife, McKenzi, and our daughter, Sutton Blair.  Whether it’s hitting the links or spending time with family, I enjoy a healthy work-life balance.

Chris Spangenberg joined JR&CO in Spring 2025, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience in the commercial roofing area across the Rocky Mountain region. With a background spanning sales, estimating, and project management, he is known for his strong work ethic, relationship-driven approach, and ability to navigate complex challenges. Chris has built his career around driving growth, strengthening client partnerships, and leading high-performing teams. His experience in construction operations, forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, and workflow optimization provides a strong technical foundation that enhances his client-focused leadership.

Jacob Guhl

Jacob Guhl has been with JR&CO since 2023, starting as a Purchasing Agent and now serving as an Estimator. He assists in preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project details, and supporting bid proposals for large roofing projects.

Outside of work, Jacob enjoys spending quality time with his wife Claire and daughter Mia. He also values being around friends and is an avid basketball fan, enjoying both playing and watching the sport in his free time.

Alex Chetelat

Alex Chetelat, Senior Estimator at JR&CO, brings expertise in sheet metal, steep slope, and flat roofing, including work at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. His career spans from crew member to leadership roles, driven by organization, continuous learning, and service.

A man of faith, Alex prioritizes his devotion to the Lord, his wife, and their growing family. A former college baseball standout, he holds a Bachelor’s in Sports Management and a Master’s in Administration. His resilience is unmatched—back to work just three months after an ACL tear.

Now with JR&CO’s Florida team, Alex is dedicated to growth, teamwork, and delivering excellence.

Granville Hare

Granville joined JR&CO in 2020 in the field on a sheet metal crew. His experience with AutoCAD moved him into the shop drawing department shortly after, where he learned the fine details of the roofing and architectural sheet metal industry through trial and error and coordination with the architectural design team. From there he moved into estimating, and today he serves as Director of Preconstruction for Commercial Roofing. He looks forward to continuing his education and impact in the field, one bid at a time.

Granville credits his growth to his team and to his wife, Katelynn. As he puts it, “I am very grateful to my team and my wonderful wife Katelynn for allowing me to grow and succeed in this field. Thank you JR&CO for this opportunity.”

Nick Schuller

“I started roofing for JR when I was in high school & college as a seasonal employee in between semesters. I spent many of those years creating a brotherhood with some of the same men that are in leadership positions at JR today.  After college I went a different direction for several years before ultimately coming back to my midwest roots, where I heard there was a need for a roll-off truck driver/crane operator at JR. I worked as an operator for several years. Jonathan provided me with limitless possibilities, not as just a one dimensional employee. With those possibilities ahead I was excited to help manage the heavy equipment division for a year and then eventually move into an estimating position where I have found myself now – since 2019. Whether it’s been running endless loads of debris to the landfills, uncomfortable crane picks, or high stress estimates, I have found a home with the JR team and whatever it is I dedicate my working life to the company’s success, to ensure work for my fellow employees, and ultimately their well being. 

My awesome wife Stephanie and I have 3 girls, and 1 son, 2 dogs, 2 outdoor cats, and 9 chickens. I enjoy chess, gardening, golf, lifting weights, basketball, fishing, cooking and teaching my kids new things. I enjoy the simple things in life. I love the Lord and I am blessed.”

Ryan Hendrickson

Ryan Hendrickson started as a roofer at JR&CO in 2012 after working for several roofing contractors and roofing consulting companies since 2002. He has many years of experience in both roofing and roofing consulting. Ryan has worked all over the continental U.S., inspecting and installing roofs. Currently, he serves as an estimator and project engineer on federal projects. 

In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Donnie Abell

Scott Dawson

Scott Dawson serves as Senior Technical Surveyor in Kansas City. With 41 years in the roofing and construction industry, he has built a career spanning field production, crew leadership, repair services, sales, business ownership, home inspection, and senior-level learning and development within the roofing area. His broad background in estimating and training strengthens his ability to support both project accuracy and team growth. He values JR&CO’s leadership and culture, appreciating the genuine commitment to people and family.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, along with a variety of outdoor activities. He and his wife have one son, three daughters, seven grandchildren, two dogs, and one granddog, and he prioritizes making memories with them whenever possible.

Zach Chrisman

With over a decade in the construction industry primarily focused on architectural cladding, Zach specializes in systems such as ACM, fiber cement, custom metal solutions, and everything in between. He started at JR&CO as a detailer, gaining firsthand experience with design and shop drawings before moving into project management. Now, as the Architectural Cladding Lead Estimator, he uses that field knowledge to deliver bids with constructability, cost control, and real-world logistics in mind.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, fishing, mountain biking, and anything else that involves the outdoors.

Travis Lloyd

Travis Lloyd has been with JR&CO since 2017, progressing through roles as a foreman and, most recently, as a roofing and sheet metal estimator for four years before returning to his current role as superintendent. His background also includes experience in residential construction and warehouse management.

Travis is passionate about the roofing industry and values the exceptional team at JR&CO. Outside of work, he enjoys tackling construction projects for himself, family, and friends, and spends his time with his girlfriend Jenn and his 17 year old son, Jake.

Daniel Wingerd

Daniel Wingerd has been with JR&CO since 2020, starting as a CADD Designer where he contributed to detailed technical drawings. In 2025 he transitioned to Estimator, using his technical knowledge to develop cost estimates and evaluate bids, before advancing to his current role as Building Envelope Surveyor.

In his spare time, Daniel enjoys spending quality time outdoors with his wife, whether hiking or mountain biking and exploring nature together.

Colby Edgar

Colby Edgar joined JR&CO as an Estimator in Architectural Cladding. With a background in architecture, he brings a solid foundation to his work. Although new to the field, Colby is eager to learn and grow, drawing inspiration from the expertise of his talented colleagues. He finds his role both rewarding and exciting as he continues to develop in the industry.

“Outside of work, soccer is my passion—it’s more than just a sport to me; it’s a way of life. I’m a devoted Chelsea F.C. fan and dream of visiting Stamford Bridge one day. Stephen Kimberling has been a dedicated member of the JR&CO team for the past eight years, taking on various responsibilities and contributing to the company’s success. Recently, he joined the estimating team, where he focuses on building new business relationships and nurturing existing ones to better serve customers and grow JR&CO’s impact.

A proud Kansas City resident, Stephen is happiest as a devoted husband to his happy wife. When he’s not cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, you can find him enjoying recreational biking or exploring unique destinations around the globe. Currently, Stephen and his family are hard at work on home renovations, striving to create a space that enhances their quality of life.

Jose Tenorio has been an Estimator with JR&CO Since May of 2024, marking the beginning of his career in the industry. He is committed and excited to build a successful career with JR&CO.

Miguel Ayala

Miguel Ayala joined JR&CO in Spring 2025 as an Estimator, bringing nearly two decades of experience in the construction industry. With a strong background in estimating, project management, and pre-construction, he offers valuable insight into project planning and execution. His well-rounded expertise supports accurate budgeting, strategic coordination, and alignment with client expectations. Miguel values JR&CO’s strong foundational principles, collaborative culture, and shared commitment to excellence.

Outside of work, Miguel enjoys hiking, running, and participating in marathons. He and his wife, Nina, have been married since 2019 and are proud parents of two sons, and they enjoy spending quality time together as a family.

Brian Burke

Brian Burke started with JR&CO in 2022 as a superintendent and has filled many of our key positions over the years as the Colorado branch has grown. He currently works as an Senior Estimator where he has developed key relationships with many large general construction firms. With 34 years of experience in roofing (from being a service technician to being a 50/50 partner in a Florida firm) he brings extensive knowledge of the industry but is still learning as the industry grows and changes. Brian is a proud veteran of the United States Navy, having served from 1983-1989 on fast attack submarines and as a Navy diver.

Brett Conner

Brett Conner joined JR & Co. in May 2023 as a service technician. Since November 2023, he has been a valuable member of our estimating team. Brett focuses on building and maintaining relationships with general contractors nationwide by providing timely, organized, and cost-effective roofing solutions for new construction projects.

Brett aims to succeed at JR & Co. in order to provide for his wife, Julia, their one-year-old son, Peter, and their soon-to-be-born second child. Brett & Julia hope to fill this world with strong, kind individuals who desire to serve the Lord. In his free time, Brett enjoys playing golf, watching Royals baseball, and witnessing the greatness of Patrick Mahomes.

Allen Bailey

Allen Bailey has worked for JR&CO for sixteen years. He started as a service technician under a service foreman with just two service crews at the company. He moved up to be Service Operations Manager and recently was promoted to Senior Service Director to help with the growing Service Department. JR&CO currently has four experienced service crews running and plans on expanding in 2025. He was drawn to JR&CO sixteen years ago looking for a career and he found one in JR&CO.

When Allen is not working he enjoys bowling, watching football, grilling/smoking meat, and spending time with his family and triplet daughters.

Justin Fross

Justin grew up immersed in the construction industry, starting as a young helper on residential job sites with his dad. The knowledge and hands-on experience he gained during those early years have shaped his career and continue to serve him today. With 25 years of construction experience and six years at JR&CO, Justin has made significant contributions across solar, sheet metal, commercial, and residential roofing. Now serving as a Service Superintendent, he plays a key role in ensuring quality and efficiency.

Outside of work, Justin treasures spending time with his wife and their six, soon to be seven, children, enjoying outdoor adventures and life together. He is also deeply connected to his church family, where he finds joy and fulfillment.

LaDonna has been with JR&CO since August 2024, serving as an Administrative Assistant for both the KC Corporate and KC Service Departments. Tim Carson started as a Project Manager at JR&CO in 2021 and over the years has managed several key projects for the Architectural Cladding Division. Tim has been a part of several design build accent walls, government standing seam panels, and IMP wall systems. With over a decade of experience in Construction Project Management, Tim has found his home at JR&CO.

Outside of work, Tim Carson enjoys playing soccer, coaching his kids athletic teams, and watching musicals with his family. Tim currently resides in Lenexa, KS where he was born, raised, and plans to die. “I LIKE LENEXA.”

David Tate

David Tate joined JR&CO in March of 2021 as a Project Manager with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. His demonstrated leadership skills led to his promotion to Senior Project Manager and membership on the PM Steering Committee where he plays a pivotal role in guiding project strategy and ensuring the successful execution of complex projects. His hands-on approach, commitment to excellence, and extensive background make him an invaluable asset to our team.

Jeremy Ginger

 Jeremy Ginger began working at JR&CO in 2023 as an Architectural Cladding Project Manager. He has over 18 years of experience as a Project Manager, primarily in Glass & Glazing. Jeremy’s experience brings value and knowledge to the JR&CO team.

Born and raised in Kansas, Jeremy has lived in Gardner for the past 9 years. He has 3 children, two of whom are also valued employees at JR&CO. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys hunting and fishing along with spending time with his family

Sean Fleming

Sean Fleming began his commercial roofing career as a laborer and quickly rose through the ranks to become Project Manager and Vice President at a Colorado-based roofing company. He later worked as the Firestone/Elevate Independent Sales Rep in Michigan and as a Territory Manager for a regional roofing distributor. Sean brings expertise in low slope roofing, architectural sheet metal, waterproofing systems, air and vapor barriers, and high-end steep slope roofing, including natural slate and clay tile. He currently serves as a Senior Project Manager/Estimator at JR&CO.

In 2018, Sean and his family relocated to Northeast El Paso County, where they are foster parents and active volunteers. During the pandemic, he developed a passion for woodworking and deep-sea fishing. Since joining JR&CO, Sean has been impressed by the company’s strong leadership and steady growth.

Matt Morrison

Matt Morrison has been with JR&CO for over three years, primarily working in Project Management. With 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Matt currently focuses on the private sector, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role.

Outside of work, Matt has been married for 18 years and is a proud father to one daughter. He enjoys traveling with his family, staying active through running, and coaching football at Summit Christian Academy in Lee’s Summit.

Luke Bertram joined JR&CO in 2019 and has grown through several key roles, including Roofing Laborer, Crew Lead, and Foreman. With hands-on experience in the field, Luke transitioned into project management in the public sector, where he has been leading projects for nearly two years.

  Outside of work, Luke has been happily married to his wife for three and a half years. They enjoy going on walks, hiking, traveling, and staying involved in their local church. Living in Kansas City, MO, they love being part of the community, exploring new places, and enjoying great food with family and friends. 

Blake Ginger

Blake Ginger is a dedicated Project Manager with over a year of experience at JR, specializing in architectural cladding projects. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, Blake effectively oversees project timelines, manages client relationships, and ensures the successful execution of complex cladding installations. His expertise in coordinating cross-functional teams and navigating the intricacies of construction projects makes him a valuable asset to the JR team. Passionate about delivering results and upholding high standards, Blake is committed to advancing innovative architectural solutions in every project he leads.

Outside of work, Blake enjoys fishing, hunting, and maintaining his aquariums. He finds relaxation in nature and is passionate about creating vibrant aquatic environments, often spending his free time exploring new hobbies and enjoying time with family and friends.

Jordan Johansen has been with JR&CO since May 2021. He began as a Project Coordinator and currently serves as a Project Manager in the New Construction sector.

Cameron Rucker

Cameron is a Project Manager on our private sector team, with five years of experience at the company across various roles. He now focuses primarily on the commercial roofing industry, where he applies his skills to lead successful projects. 

Outside of work, Cameron enjoys fly fishing, hunting, and spending time with his wife and newborn daughter, balancing his professional life with his passion for the outdoors and family.

Nick Darling

“Nick Darling started with JR&CO as a Jr. Project Manager in August of 2024. Since then he has moved into a role as a full time Project Manager and is currently leading projects across the Colorado sector. Prior to joining JR&CO Nick worked as a project manager for a large agricultural equipment supplier in the Pacific Northwest and brings invaluable experience across multiple industries to the team.”

Steve Willman started with JR&CO in 2016 and over the years has had the opportunity to serve JR&CO in many roles and is a Project Manager in our New Construction Department. He was in the General Contracting field prior to JR&CO and uses the knowledge he gained from that and the continuous learning at JR&CO to proactively manage Roofing and Sheetmetal projects. He is always looking for ways to help our customers receive the best service and products in a timely manner. 

When not working, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys.

Gene Bayles

Kenneth “Gene” Bayles has been with JR&CO since 2018. He began his construction career in 2003, starting in framing before moving on to foundations. In 2006, Gene transitioned to sheet metal work in HVAC, and in 2010, he began fabricating sheet metal, a field he has remained in ever since. Gene started at JR&CO as a field foreman and steadily worked his way up to operations manager for sheet metal. Over the years, he has gained extensive knowledge and experience, and he has recently transitioned into project management. Gene is excited to continue his career growth at JR&CO.

Luis Estrada

Luis Estrada joined JR&CO in 2021 as a Sheet Metal Crew Member and has since progressed to Project Manager. With over 10 years of experience, he has developed a passion for architectural sheet metal and strives to inspire others to continuously improve. His expertise spans flat roofing systems, exterior cladding, ACM, MCM, wood, composite materials, and custom fabrication. Luis is also currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management to further enhance his skills and knowledge.

Outside of work, Luis enjoys fishing, hiking, and spending time with his Miniature Dachshund. He’s a foodie who loves discovering new restaurants and trying great food. Always open to new experiences, Luis is dedicated to personal and professional growth.

Hannah Shuler

Hannah Shuler has been with JR&CO since October 2023. She began as an Administrative Assistant, supporting the team with various daily tasks, and has since taken on a new role as a Jr. Project Manager in the Public Division. In her current position, Hannah helps oversee project coordination, scheduling, and communication to ensure the successful execution of public-sector projects.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys hiking, playing music, and going antiquing. She values spending time with her four adult children and loves traveling whenever she can, exploring new places and experiences.

Justin Smith

Justin Smith joined JR&CO in July 2023 as an architectural sheet metal crew member with no prior construction experience. Today he brings nearly two years in the field and 16 months in project management, giving him a working understanding of the trade from the roofline down. He values that JR&CO rewards people who want to grow, and credits the veteran roofers, sheet metal workers, and glaziers who have always been willing to answer questions and share what they know.

Outside of work, Justin camps, shoots, reads classic books, and practices martial arts. He travels the country whenever he can, hunting down new restaurants along the way, and serves in ministry at his local church.

Braden McAllister

Andrew Kaiser

Andrew Kaiser has been working at JR&CO since February 2016.  Although he has held multiple positions within that time frame, he is currently serving as the Project Controls Manager.  He has over 10 years of construction experience and had the privilege of working overseas in Singapore for 4 years.

“I’m so thankful for the opportunity to work at JR&CO and can’t imagine working anywhere else.  I’m blessed each day by my wonderful colleagues and also the culture & values the leadership has worked diligently to create.  Outside of work I spend as much time with my wife & 7 kids as possible, as well as studying the bible and being involved with our church family.  If there is time after that, I enjoy various outdoor activities such as hiking, working in the yard, and playing baseball/softball.  I strive to do everything to the glory of God (1 Cor 10:31).”

Cory Goodwin

Cory has been the Manager of Quality Control at JR&CO since January 2021. Operations Manager since Nov 23. He has 20+ years of roofing experience with a hiatus between. He has been officiating football at the high school varsity level for the past fifteen years and made it to the level NAIA in the sport Lacrosse. 

“This is my second go around with JR&CO and was brought back by the people and culture they have cultivated. When not working, I enjoy playing and spending time at home with my wife and three young girls.”

Jacob Mueller

With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Jacob Mueller brings a wealth of knowledge, dedication, and leadership to his role as Operations Manager at JR&CO. Since joining the company in December 2018, Jacob has been instrumental in driving operational excellence and fostering a collaborative, family-like culture that sets JR&CO apart. His outstanding leadership has earned him recognition as a key contributor to the company’s success. Jacob holds a Civil Engineering Degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), which he earned in 2016. His technical expertise, combined with his hands-on industry experience, allows him to approach challenges with innovative solutions and a commitment to quality. 

Jacob is passionate about the values that make JR&CO unique: “What I love most about JR&CO is the strong leadership and the family atmosphere that makes everyone feel valued. Shawn Porter

Shawn Porter has been a Superintendent at JR&CO since 2019 and an Operations Manager for the New Construction Division since 2021.  He is a Marine Corps veteran and has a bachelor’s degree in business management.  Shawn’s tactful approach has been critical in understanding General Contractor needs and implementing strategies to ensure overall project success from start to finish.

Edgar Sosa

Edgar Sosa joined the JR&CO team two years ago, bringing with him 11 years of experience in glass and glazing. He started as an installer and quickly advanced to the role of Operations Manager/Superintendent. Throughout his career, Edgar has valued the strong family-oriented culture at JR&CO, which has made his experience even more fulfilling.

Isaiah Nichols serves as Project Executive, bringing 8 years of hands-on experience in government, general contracting, commercial roofing, and project management. He excels in coordinating project phases, managing budgets, and training crews to ensure timely and effective project delivery, with strong leadership and problem solving skills that keep projects to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Outside of work, Isaiah is married with four energetic boys and enjoys adventure, whether fishing, exploring nature, or spending time with his family. He values his church community, where faith and fellowship play a central role in his life, and strives to create lasting memories while instilling strong values in his children

César Reyes

César Reyes has been with JR&CO for nearly 8 years and currently serves as an Operations Manager. He has progressed through all levels in the construction industry with a strong drive to improve, and his current role has further reinforced his passion for the field.

Outside of work, César enjoys spending time with his family, especially on activities chosen by his daughters, and takes short motorcycle trips to unwind. Guided by faith, he believes in the power of consistency and is committed to fulfilling his purpose in life.

Justin Wilson started working at JR&CO in 2024 and his current role is Director of Operations. He has had the privilege of managing and developing people for over 10 years.

Michael Warren started with JR&CO in 2024 filling a Superintendent role with the Private Sector. Ten years of roofing experience roles from Laborer, Foreman, Repair Tech and Project Manager has led to a sufficient understanding of installation requirements and customer relations care. 

In his off time, he enjoys his wife and baby girl that was introduced to the world in 2024. If he is not at home, he can be found in a tree stand bowhunting for whitetail deer or on a river Crappie fishing.

Tony Ginger

Tony Ginger joined JR&CO in 2024 as a Supervisor, where he takes pride in leading his crew and being hands-on in the field. A proud Navy veteran, Tony brings a strong sense of dedication and teamwork to everything he does. His passion for his country and commitment to those around him help foster lasting friendships both on and off the job.

Outside of work, Tony enjoys fishing, hunting, and watching football. His leadership, reliability, and genuine care for his team make him an invaluable part of the JR&CO family.

Tyler Hood

Tyler Hood is the Shop Superintendent at JR & CO, where he’s been part of the team since January 2024. With experience in the ACM and sheet metal industry since 2019, he has taken on a variety of roles at JR—from ACM fabrication and material management to overseeing shipping, receiving, and full shop operations.

“What I enjoy most about working at JR is the family feel, teamwork, and the constant opportunity to improve processes,” he shares. “I take pride in helping streamline operations and ensuring each project moves efficiently from fabrication to delivery.”

Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three children. Together, they love attending outdoor events, watching sports, and having cozy movie nights at home.

John Clausen

Sergio Moran

Sergio Moran has been a valued member of the JR family for over 11 years, taking on various roles throughout his tenure. Starting as a crew member, Sergio quickly progressed to foreman and eventually earned the position of Superintendent, which he holds today. His dedication and work ethic have earned him the respect of his colleagues and peers. One of the aspects Sergio values most about working at JR&CO is the strong emphasis on family.

Outside of his professional role, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and six children, as well as cherishing moments with his close friends.

Arthur Jesse

Arthur Jesse joined JR&CO in August 2023 as a sheet metal crew member and quickly worked his way up to the role of superintendent. He deeply appreciates the strong work ethic and family-oriented culture at JR&CO, which has played a key role in his rapid growth within the company. Prior to his time at JR&CO, Arthur spent 8 years in residential remodeling, gaining valuable experience that has shaped his skills and expertise.

 Outside of work, Arthur enjoys spending quality time with his family, as well as hunting, fishing, and helping out with various house projects. His dedication to both his professional and personal life reflects his commitment to excellence and his love for his community.

Paxton Clarke

Paxton Clarke, born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, developed a strong work ethic and a passion for learning early on. After completing his education, he joined JR&CO in the solar energy industry, starting as a laborer and quickly earning the respect of his peers. Over four years, Paxton’s dedication and leadership led him to the role of Superintendent, where he oversaw projects and managed teams. 

Outside of work, he is an avid fan of Kansas City’s sports teams, especially the Royals and Chiefs. Paxton’s journey reflects his commitment to hard work, growth, and his Kansas City roots.

Benjamin Morales

Benjamin Morales is a Superintendent at JR&CO’s Colorado Branch, a role he has held for three months. With a strong passion for learning and growth in the industry, he is focused on expanding his roofing knowledge and advancing his education in Occupational Health and Safety. Benjamin aims to enhance his expertise while contributing to the company’s dedication to quality and safety. 

Outside of work, he and his wife are actively involved in a ministry that focuses on serving and supporting those in need through their church. In his free time, Benjamin enjoys hiking, spending time with his church family, and traveling. His greatest joy comes from serving as the hands and feet of Jesus, with the ultimate goal of building God’s kingdom.

Daniel Nichols started with JR&CO in January 2020 and now serves as Director of Heavy Equipment, Fleet & Warehouse Operations. He coordinates all equipment rental, in-house crane and roll off dumpster needs, and oversees warehouse operations in Kansas City, leading a team of qualified and experienced crane operators and material handlers who support every sector of the company.

Daniel thoroughly enjoys working at JR&CO and appreciates the people, values, and vision behind it. Outside of work, he’s been married to his wife for over 22 years and has seven children, and he enjoys spending time with them, ministering and serving in his local church, and following his favorite soccer teams.”

Frank Hargett Jr.

Frank Hargett has quickly built strong relationships with his colleagues, whom he considers family. His experience in residential roofing, gained from working at ABC and Beacon, has helped him settle into his role. Frank’s goal is to continue growing within the company, contribute more, and eventually take on a leadership role, possibly managing a branch in the future.

Frank is a proud father of three and is supported by his wife, Deanna, of 10 years. He credits his family as his biggest motivators, as they inspire him to strive for constant improvement. After work, Frank enjoys cooking dinner with his wife, helping with homework, and relaxing together. On weekends, the family spends time at the beach, parks, or doing activities like helping his daughter with her nails. Frank is also passionate about writing music and is in the process of writing a book. He’s excited for his future at JR&CO and looks forward to what lies ahead.

Jayke Maples

Jayke Maples is the Regional Sales Manager for the Residential Department at JR&CO, where he has been dedicated to driving customer satisfaction and developing a high-performing sales team since 2023. With a strong focus on customer care, Jayke emphasizes the importance of aligning his team’s efforts with the core values of the company, ensuring a consistently excellent experience for clients.

Outside of work, Jayke is a devoted husband to his wife, Taylor, and a proud father of two sons, Nikolai and Roan, who serve as his primary motivation in all aspects of life. When he’s not spending time with his family, Jayke enjoys playing soccer and indulging in music, always seeking a balance between his professional and personal passions.

Justin Marino joined the JR&CO team over a year ago as an experienced roofing professional with 7 years in the industry. As the Steep Slope Claims Coordinator at JR&CO Roofing, he oversees steep slope claims, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Previously, Justin was a Commercial Estimator, developing expertise in project estimation and client relations.

Before joining JR&CO Roofing, he spent 5 years at Premier Roofing, where he gained hands-on experience and built a strong technical foundation. Passionate about growth and innovation, Justin is committed to contributing to JR&CO Roofing’s ongoing success and looks forward to further developing his skills.

Luke Williams joined JR&CO in 2024 as a Residential Project Manager and quickly advanced to Residential Sales Executive and Field Trainer. His dedication, expertise, and drive have made him a valuable leader within the team, helping to shape the future of our residential division.

Luke Williams is a devoted husband, father of three, and a faithful servant in his church. His kindness, joy, and laughter make a lasting impact wherever he goes.

Brandi Tweedie

Brandi Tweedie joined JR&CO in 2024 and is the Residential Operations Coordinator. With experience in the roofing industry since 2017, she brings valuable knowledge and skills to her role and is excited to contribute to the team at JR&CO

Nolan Goode

Nolan Goode joined JR&CO as an Outside Sales/Sales Representative, where he thrives in an environment that values honesty and hard work—qualities he deeply appreciates about the company. Originally from Dallas, TX, Nolan is currently in his final semester at Midwestern Seminary. Looking ahead, he hopes to serve on the mission field in the near future, combining his passion for service with his commitment to integrity and diligence.

“I enjoy yard games (SpikeBall and corn hole), and I love to compete in just about any other sport. I also play piano and am actively involved in my church.”

Keith Vanderpool

Keith is a dedicated Residential Project Manager at JR&CO, where he has been contributing his expertise for almost a year. With a strong background in construction, Keith quickly adapted to the various facets of roofing, gaining in-depth knowledge of the industry and a keen understanding of how to best serve customers. He takes great pride in helping clients navigate their roofing projects, ensuring they receive the highest level of service.

Outside of work, Keith enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two dogs. An avid outdoorsman, he loves activities like hunting, fishing, and camping, embracing every opportunity to connect with nature.

Chad Amis

Chad Amis joined JR&CO in Winter 2025 as a Residential Sales Representative and has since grown into the role of Regional Residential Operations Manager. With more than 24 years of experience in the roofing industry, he brings deep technical knowledge and seasoned insight into residential operations. His background in sales, combined with hands-on industry experience, allows him to lead teams effectively while maintaining a strong customer-first focus.

Outside of work, Chad enjoys playing soccer, competing in BBQ competitions, and buying, selling, and trading antiques. He also values quality time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Jake Richmond

Jake Richmond started with JR&CO in early 2025, bringing a fresh perspective and a passion for growth to the team. With a strong drive for success, he is excited to contribute to the company’s future and be part of its talented team.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Jake moved to Kansas City last year and quickly embraced the city. He’s an avid Kansas City Current fan, often attending games to support the team and his girlfriend, who plays for the Current. At home, Jake enjoys the company of his energetic 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog.

Jackson Williams

Jackson Williams has been with JR & Co. since April of 2024, serving as a Roofing Sales Consultant. He loves the family environment at JR and the brotherhood on the residential team. With a strong passion for helping homeowners navigate the roofing process, Jackson is dedicated to building relationships and ensuring each customer receives the highest quality service. His goal is to educate homeowners about their roofing options and guide them through every step of getting a beautiful, reliable new roof on their home.

Outside of work, Kolten enjoys boating and fishing. He is based in Kansas City, close to his family and his dog, Bruce.

Mario Washington

 Mario Washington Jr. brings more than 10 years of sales experience to JR&CO. A Shelby, North Carolina native, he attended the United States Naval Academy on a football scholarship out of high school and later California University of Pennsylvania, graduating with a degree in mathematics. He went on to play professional football in the CFL and AFL and taught mathematics before moving into sales. What he loves most about the work is the competitive drive it brings out and the growth opportunities that come with it.

Outside of work, Mario’s focus is his family. He and his fiancée, Marissa Trilli, have two sons, four year old Rome and nine month old Suade.

Matt Michalak has been with JR&CO since 2018 and serves as Director of Safety, leading the company’s safety strategy, training, compliance, and risk management across multiple operating regions. He brings more than 20 years of engineering and construction industry experience, including over 10 years focused on construction safety.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University, along with several professional safety credentials, including Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), and Associate Safety Professional (ASP).

Mark Wilkinson

Mark joined JR & Co. in 2026, bringing over 30 years of experience in sales, operations, leadership, and business development. As an author, sales coach, and longtime business leader, Mark has spent his career in construction, roofing, sales, and team building, helping organizations grow their productivity, profitability, and culture along the way.

At JR & Co., Mark is focused on building relationships and growing the company’s presence in Oklahoma. What he enjoys most about the job is simple: developing people and helping the business grow.

Outside of work, Mark is a writer, hunter, and outdoorsman who values time with family above all. He’s been married to his wife, Tess, for years, and together they’ve raised four children: sons Joshua and John, and married daughters Emily and Laura. A handful of grandkids keep things lively and remind Mark what it’s all about.

Adam Clear

Adam Clear joined JR&CO in spring 2026, marking his entry into the roofing industry after building a strong background in solar sales. That experience gave him a solid foundation in educating homeowners and helping them make informed, confident decisions about their homes.

What drew Adam to JR&CO is its family-owned foundation and strong values, a connection made even more personal through his deployment to Afghanistan alongside other JR&CO team members. Outside of residential sales, he enjoys flying, coding, and keeping up with his two teenage sons.

James Luke

James Luke joined JR&CO in March 2026, bringing experience in commercial roof management and building waterproofing since 2019. His varied background has helped him build success in commercial asset management, along with solid, trustworthy relationships with property managers, owners, and clients.

James values the culture and people at JR&CO, describing it as a family owned and operated company with the resources and technology of a much larger organization, where everyone supports one another and has the opportunity to succeed. Outside of work, he’s an avid waterman who enjoys surfing, fishing, scuba diving, and relaxing at the beach with his three children, Samuel, Jaime, and Bo. He also spent several years as a stay at home father, during which the family traveled the country full time in an RV.

 James Rodgers joined JR&CO in 2026 with seven years of experience in his field. He previously worked as a public adjuster, advocating for commercial property owners through the insurance claims process, an experience that fueled his passion for protecting people’s investments. What stood out to him most about JR&CO was the culture, a place that genuinely cares about its people and has a real sense of teamwork.

Outside of work, James is usually with his family. He and his wife, Katie, have been married 20 years and have two children, Maxum, a junior at Millard South High School, and Ella, a junior at the University of Nebraska Omaha. He fishes with his son, takes his daughter on daddy-daughter outings, and has been competing, coaching, or giving back to the wrestling community for nearly 42 years.

Justin McDonald joined JR&CO in 2026, bringing 6 years of experience in insurance and residential appraisals. He appreciates the willingness of the team at JR&CO to help each other out, which has made for a strong and supportive environment.

Outside of work, Justin enjoys traveling with his wife, watching sports, reading, and playing video games. He doesn’t have kids yet, but he and his wife have two dogs to keep them busy.

Taylor Cain

Taylor Cain joined JR&CO in 2026, bringing 4 years of experience in restoration, including water, mold, and fire damage. She values the unmatched reputation JR&CO has built and the integrity everyone brings to their work, along with the team’s shared commitment to growing the company and doing right by customers.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys reading, tackling interior design and home projects, and planning trips and traveling with her family. She and her husband have two boys, along with two dogs and two ducks.

Caleb Holyfield

Caleb Holyfield joined JR&CO in 2026 with more than three years in glass and glazing estimating , including prior project management work in the trade. He holds an MBA and is bilingual in English and Russian. What he values most here are the people he works alongside and an environment that is both adaptable and relentless about hitting ambitious growth goals.

Outside of work, Caleb spends most of his time with his family and his church, where he serves as treasurer, deacon, and bookkeeper. He is married with two daughters under four, advises his wife’s micro home bakery on the financial side, and enjoys strategy board games.

Luigi Franco

 Luigi Franco joined JR&CO in 2026 with 13 years as a roofer and 7 years as an estimator. He holds a degree in construction management and an OSHA-30 certification. What he enjoys most here is the mix of great people and strong project resources, an atmosphere where hardworking and good humored go hand in hand.

Outside of work, Luigi travels, attends concerts, and seeks out new restaurants. He is also a musician who performs on stage, holds a sound engineering certification, and has experience in social media recording and editing.

Carl Laroco

 Carl Laroco joined JR&CO in March 2026 with eight years of experience in his field. What he values most here is a team that supports the work down to the smallest detail, making sure everything is done right and presented well.

Outside of work, Carl is a professional volleyball player and competes across the United States.

Victor Nichols

Victor Nichols joined JR&CO’s fleet department in 2026. He brings eight years of part-time accounting and bookkeeping experience, along with a detail-oriented, problem-solving approach to his work. What he enjoys most here is the company culture and the people he works alongside, and the family environment is a literal one for him since several of his coworkers are family.

Outside of work, Victor is an avid pianist and plays for his church every week. He is a sports enthusiast who enjoys soccer and wallyball with friends.

Aaron Haynes

Aaron Haynes joined JR&CO as General Manager in 2026, bringing 25 years of leadership experience, including 5 years in manufacturing and 6 years in global supply chain and logistics. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Penn State University and has a strong background in manufacturing, supply chain, and big box retail management. What Aaron enjoys most about JR&CO is its people culture.

Outside of work, Aaron is married to his wife Janelle, and together they have six children: Natalie, Micah, Ezekiel, Obadiah, Nahum, and Solomon. He enjoys being involved and volunteering at church, playing sports, working out, and hunting and fishing with his family.

Martin Lozano

 Martin Lozano joined JR&CO in the summer of 2021, straight out of high school, and spent four years working in the field. He started on residential projects before moving to commercial work after three years. He enjoys that there is always something new to learn here, and that the team feels like family.

Outside of work, Martin is family oriented and spends most of his time with them. He also plays soccer.

Jacob Collicott

Jacob Collicott joined JR&CO in 2026, bringing an athletic background as a former college basketball player. What he enjoys most about working here is his coworkers and the team environment they’ve built together.

Outside of work, Jacob stays active with basketball, spends time with kids, and values fellowship with those around him.

Eric Goettling

Eric Goettling joined JR&CO in 2026, bringing 16 years of experience along with a background spanning construction, including masonry and concrete, insurance adjusting, and operations management for emergency services. He values the ability to develop programs, processes, people, and himself, and appreciates working alongside quality, credible people with character.

Outside of work, Eric spends most of his time with his wife and four kids, Kyleigh, Braxton, Myles, and Brooks, whether at sporting activities, taekwondo, or scouts. He also enjoys singing and theatre.

Ben Struik

Ben Struik joined JR&CO in Fall 2026 with 15 years of experience across sales, insurance, and construction. He has run sales teams for a tech company, owned an insurance agency, worked as a project manager for a residential exterior construction company, and most recently served as a property adjuster for State Farm. He is a licensed adjuster in all 50 states and brings a strong background on both the policy and claims sides of insurance. What he values most about JR&CO are the family and faith values the company is built on, and he is excited to put his experience to work creating more value for the community.

Outside of work, Ben spends his time with family and friends. He is an avid golfer and enjoys time at his country club, meeting new members and building friendships. He and his wife, Kelsey, have been married five years, and their son, Bode, celebrated his first birthday this past July.

 Coltyn Clark joined JR&CO in 2026 and has worked in sheet metal since 2016. What he values most here is the family culture.

Outside of work, Coltyn spends his time with his wife, Kelly, and their three children, Oliver, Oaklee, and Hazel. He stays busy with the family farm, horseback riding, hunting, and exercising, anything that keeps him outdoors.

Travis Roane

 Travis Roane came up through JR Roofing in early 2024 and officially joined JR&CO in January 2026. He brings 13 years of general construction experience and 8 years in roofing.

Outside of work, Travis is usually outdoors with his family, hiking, fishing, or in the garden. He and his wife have two sons, a two and a half year old and a six month old. He also volunteers a few times a year with conservation groups, running field surveys and collecting native plant seed, and has taught classes on wild plant identification.

Jennifer Caldwell joined JR&CO in 2026 as a Payroll Specialist with nearly five years in payroll and compliance. Before that, she spent 10 years in corrections, holding leadership and supervisory roles. Her background spans employee training, administrative operations, multi-state payroll, and prevailing wage compliance. What she enjoys most about JR&CO is the family atmosphere, where everyone has been welcoming and fun to work with.

Outside of work, Jennifer spends time with her family and explores new places. She is an avid plant mom, keeps her creativity flowing through artsy and home projects, and is always up for a new adventure and a good laugh. She is a proud mom and Nana to three grandsons who keep life entertaining.

Geoff joined JR&CO in 2026 with 10 years in roofing and 20 years in the construction industry. He also holds a degree in landscape architecture. What he values most here is that JR&CO is family run and the level of customer service the team provides.

Outside of work, Geoff fishes, boats, golfs, and spends time with family and friends. He and his wife have 13 year old twins, Keagan and Karleigh.

Diego Garcia

Diego Garcia joined JR&CO in 2026 as a Commercial Account Manager with more than nine years of experience across the installation, technical, and manufacturing sides of the industry. His work has taken him across the country on commercial projects from tear-offs to full installations, building deep expertise in TPO, PVC, and EPDM systems. He also served as a Technical Representative for Elevate Commercial Roofing, formerly Firestone BP. What he enjoys most here is the culture.

Outside of work, Diego hikes with his wife and their dogs, trail runs, cycles, and trains jiu jitsu and Muay Thai. He also loves to bake with his wife.
