Our team installed a 60 mil PVC wind-vented roof system over a ½” cover board across the school’s large roofing area. With more than 150,000 square feet of roof space, the project needed careful planning and execution to ensure performance across the entire structure. The new system offers durability, wind resistance, and moisture protection while handling Missouri’s changing weather. The installation comes with a 20-year warranty, providing reassurance for the district.

Kearney High School, located in Kearney, Missouri, is home to 1650+ students and 105 staff members. JR&CO wanted to provide the school with a top-tier roofing solution that would ensure long-term protection for students, staff, and facilities. Schools require durable, low-maintenance roofing systems that can withstand the elements while minimizing disruptions—and this project was no exception.


The JR&CO team installed a 60 mil PVC wind-vented roof system over a ½” coverboard, delivering enhanced durability, wind resistance, and moisture protection. Designed to handle Missouri’s unpredictable weather, this system comes with a 20-year warranty, giving the school district peace of mind for decades to come.
