Our Lady of Guadalupe
Location: Kansas City, MO
System: Malarkey Vista AR Shingle (Class 4 Impact Resistant) in “Heather” / Versico 60mil EPDM
Square Footage: 7,600
Scope:
We were proud to be part of the revitalization of the historic Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Kansas City. The project, completed over nearly three years, involved a comprehensive roof renovation to enhance both durability and aesthetic appeal.
The project included 7,000 square feet of Malarkey Vista AR Shingles in “Heather” color, providing Class 4 impact resistance. A full plywood re-deck was installed for a strong foundation. We also added Lomanco Omni-Roll Ridge Vent and DA-4 Deck-Air for improved ventilation.
For the flat roof sections, we used 600 square feet of Versico 60mil EPDM, offering exceptional waterproofing. Finally, we installed custom-fabricated gutters and downspouts in Everlast Metals’ “Colonial Red” to complement the roof’s design and improve rainwater management. This renovation not only restored a historic landmark but also integrated modern roofing solutions, ensuring the church’s protection and beauty for years to come.
